The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 7, reveal that there’ll be danger for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gets grilled.

Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will also receive a surprise offer, so there’ll be a lot happening on Y&R.

At the Newman ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will steal a few moments alone with Jill since they’ll have some business to settle.

This will be a conversation that’s long overdue as far as Nikki’s concerned. It sounds like Nikki will want to clear the air and perhaps apologize for any past drama.

Nikki may acknowledge that it’s best if they work together to stop Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) threat – and that means putting any old issues to rest.

Of course, Jill may not be as quick to believe Cane is going to stir up trouble.

It’s true that Cane has lost his way, but Jill will still have hope for him to get back on track before it’s too late.

That said, Jill might accept whatever truce Nikki offers since she’s got enough problems to contend with right now.

Between trying to keep Cane in line and trying to make amends with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Jill has a lot on her plate.

Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll put Phyllis through a grilling session about her continued Cane alliance.

Nick will keep trying to convince Phyllis that Cane is bad news and that this can only end in disaster for her.

However, Phyllis may dodge most of Nick’s questions and insist she’s got everything under control.

Since Phyllis thinks she can take care of herself, she may once again push Nick to just butt out.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be taken aback when Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will return with some unsettling Mariah updates.

Daniel and Tessa apparently faced some shocking revelations during their trip to Mariah’s former hotel, so they’ll have some concerns to share.

Will Tessa and Daniel have more information on Mariah’s attempt to kill the stranger (Michael Swan) she crossed paths with?

Tessa will eventually admit she’s worried about the danger for Mariah, so it’s possible someone out there could still want revenge.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel will continue to be a strong source of support for Tessa as she frets, so stay tuned.
