The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, September 8, 2025, tease that all the confidence Taylor has been projecting has really been for nothing.

Taylor Can’t Believe Her Ears

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has really done it this time, but it’s exactly what we expected him to do eventually.

He told Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) that he couldn’t marry her. For some reason, Taylor is in a state of shock.

Somehow, she really thought that Ridge was going to stay true to her this time when he hadn’t done it any time before in all the decades they had known each other.

Taylor tells Ridge that she is not about to let him do this now. They have been so happy together, so this is unimaginable to her, but Taylor really needs to reflect on how this all went down.

The only reason that Ridge slept with her and reunited with her to begin with was due to a misunderstanding with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

In fact, he jumped into bed with her just minutes after his big fight with Brooke. That should have been her clue from the start that proposing to Ridge may not have been a good idea.

But this Taylor is a little more pathetic than the other Taylors, so why are we surprised? She even let this man nearly kill her with Broken Heart Syndrome. (Taylor, he’s just not worth it. No man is.)

Thomas Warns Brooke

Well, Brooke thinks that Ridge is worth it, even though he is not. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) even thinks that Ridge is worth it — but only for Taylor. Thomas also believes his own happiness hinges on whether his parents are together or not, which is a little insane, but that’s how he feels.

To that end, he once again warns Brooke to stay away from his father, pointing out that his parents would already be married if it weren’t for her. She constantly breaks up their family.

Brooke is also not willing to back down without a fight, so let the best woman win…we guess.
