Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has hit back as she shared a horrible response to a photo of her son on social media.

The actress, who plays Bethany Platt in the ITV soap having taken on the role in 2015, welcomed her second child, Nancy, into the world at the start of the year with her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson.

Their newest bundle of joy’s arrival came after the couple welcomed their son, Sonny, back in 2023, following a tragic miscarriage with their first pregnancy.

Lucy is regularly seen sharing updates on her new life as a mum-of-two on social media, as well as what she’s up to both on and off the cobbles.

In a recent post to her Instagram Story, Lucy was admiring her two-year-old sons curly blonde locks.

“Never cutting his hair,” she wrote alongside the image, adding a face holding back tears emoji and a heart icon.

But the soap star has since returned to her profile and shared one of the shocking messages she received in response as she called out the troll.

Their message read: “He’ll get bullied then! He’s a boy!”

Clapping back, Lucy wrote: “Imagine being a fully grown man and actually typing this message out to send to a 2-year-old.”

Meanwhile, this week, Lucy swapped the cobbles for the red carpet as she headed to the Pride of Britain Awards.

Lucy was seen alongside her Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien, who plays on-screen mum Sarah Platt, as they joined a whole host of other famous faces to celebrate the country’s unsung heroes on Monday (October 20) night.

Taking to Instagram, Lucy shared a video of herself and Tina all glammed-up ready to strut their stuff on the red carpet.

Alongside the clip, Lucy wrote: “My fave girl ever!!! @tinaob83.”

The Blackpool-born soap star has also shared a picture of herself to her main Instagram grid, in which she looks gorgeous in a baby blue dress with draped detailing around the front, which she accessorised with a sparkling gold clutch bag.
