Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley has been supported by fans after sharing a heartfelt post with her fiancé.
The actress shot to fame when she joined the ITV soap in 1995, playing Mandy Dingle – and it’s fair to say it didn’t take her long to become a firm favourite with fans.
Mandy has also been involved in several major storylines over the years. From her beloved relationship with Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) to financial struggles that led her to become a financial dominatrix online, Mandy’s time in the Dales has not been short of drama.
Away from the soap though, Lisa has been with American partner Al for 11 years, with them currently being engaged. And recently, Lisa shared a sweet update about her romance with musician Al.

Taking to her Instagram, the soap star shared a loved-up snap of her and her beau visiting Wentworth Woodhouse. Posing outside, Lisa and Al beamed at the camera.
In the caption Lisa wrote: “Could not have asked for a more beautiful day embracing Autumn at its best spent the morning visiting @wentworth_woodhouse which is truly breathtaking-the grounds are just beautiful.
“Then the whole afternoon walking for miles at the INCREDIBLE @yspsculpture YORKSHIRE Sculpture Park….I cannot recommend both these places more-we’ve walked.”
Lisa’s fans soon rushed to the comments section gush over the post. One person said: “Beautiful pictures.”
Someone else added: “Lovely photos of you lovely couple.” A third chimed in: “Yorkshire is beautiful Lovely photo.”
Lisa first met Al at a Strictly Come Dancing tour event in 2014. Four years later they got engaged. However, the actress has previously shared the reason why she and Al have chosen not to get married.

She said: “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it… We’re very happy as we are and while I love wearing the beautiful ring Al gave me, I’ve never been the kind of girl who longs for a big, flouncy day with a horse and carriage.
“That kind of thing gives me the ick, to be honest. I’m never going to change my name, so really, what would be the difference? We call each other husband and wife, and have been together for nine years.”
