Teddy also decided to join HART, but his time with the unit came to an abrupt end after a tricky shift, plus he tried to tackle his continuing heart problem in an irresponsible way.
Meanwhile, Jacob struggled to afford the charge of his son Blake’s medication and was later falsely accused by Faith of stealing the morphine supply, leading to tension between him and Iain.

Speaking exclusively to us on the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards 2025, Milo revealed that there is far more to come for these two characters in the next boxset titled ‘Learning Curve’, which is set to kick off in late December.
“The next boxset’s an exciting one,” he teased. “I’d say definitely for my character, Teddy goes through a lot in this boxset. Teddy and Jacob have quite an interesting story. I’m not sure if I can reveal too much yet, but it involves a bit of police drama, and definitely a few more cliffhangers.
“We try and split up the dynamics between a lot of the characters in this one and then see if they come back together and see if they do learn a lot through the boxset. It’s exciting, very exciting.”

“A large part of the series is watching their progression as young people entering the NHS,” Olly Rix, who plays Flynn Byron, told us, “and how senior doctors consult with them and guide them and help them – or maybe fail in that aspect.”

BBCThe Inside Soap Awards 2025 took place in London on Monday night (September 29), with Casualty’s Michael Stevenson winning Best Drama Star for playing Iain.
