Bold & Beautiful’s Lisa Yamada Celebrates New Movie Premiere

Good things have been surrounding The Bold and the Beautiful’s Lisa Yamada as of late. Not only did she just win a Daytime Emmy Award for playing Luna in the category of Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Program, she made history by being the first Asian-American network soap opera star to win a Daytime Emmy acting award — plus, the CBS fave has a new film set to hit theaters next months.

The actress took to her official Instagram page to post photos and videos from the exciting premiere event and shared, “Quick trip to NYC to celebrate the birth of our baby I Wish You All the Best!” She then alerted fans that her latest project would be in theaters beginning on Friday, November 7th.

Yamada plays Sophie in the film that surrounds a teen named Ben (Corey Fogelmanis) who sets out on a journey of self-discovery after being thrown out of the house — and lessons of love, friendship and family are discovered along the way. Some of you may recognize Fogelmanis as pop singer Conan Gray’s romantic interest in his music videos for “This Song,” “Vodka Cranberry” and “Caramel.”
