HOTTEST NEWS TODAY!!! Coronation Street reveals Tracy’s surprise marriage plan in early ITVX episode

Coronation Street’s newest feud spirals completely out of control tonight, as Tracy McDonald vows to delay her divorce for as long as possible out of spite. Tracy makes her threat as she continues to clash with Cassie Plummer – but how will Steve feel about his failed marriage being used as a weapon like this?

Tracy and Cassie have become embroiled in a new round of tit-for-tat jibes and tricks against each other this week, with Ken Barlow caught in the middle as they bicker at No.1. So when Tracy suddenly suggests a truce tonight, Cassie reckons it’s highly suspicious…

During a visit to the cab office, Tracy claims that it’s time to stop fighting as Ken is unwell and needs both of their support.

It all sounds well and good, but Tracy’s true motive becomes clear when she then urges Cassie to use her influence over Steve (who’s currently away visiting his brother) and convince him to withdraw his legal claim on the florists in their divorce battle.

When Cassie refuses, it’s clear that she and Tracy will never be on the same page.

Later, things get worse when Cassie finds Tracy sleeping on the sofa at No.1 after drinking some wine.

Unleashing her ruthless side once again, Cassie tries to set fire to the tablecloth with a candle and then makes a show of screaming at Tracy to wake up. Tracy comes round just in time to see Cassie playing the hero.

With all eyes on Tracy, she’s soon asked to explain why she’s behaving so erratically at the moment.

Tracy admits that she’s been forced to drop her divorce lawyer, as she can’t afford the expensive fees anymore.

Cassie points out that Tracy would have a much easier life if she just signed the settlement and divided up her assets with Steve, but Tracy has other ideas…

Still fixated on the florists, Tracy replies: “No way – that business is mine, not his. He’s not having half of my flower shop.

“Why are you obsessed with me, Cassie? You are intent on getting your hands on everything that’s mine.

“Well, I’ll tell you something. I will stay married to Steve for the rest of my life, if it means I keep my shop…”

Has Cassie lost the upper hand by underestimating Tracy?
