Redding Munsell Stars In New Film

The film has a darker bite to it. Werewolf follows a single mother who is forced to confront her demons. Of course, that’s when her hunger becomes unbearable, and the only thing standing between her and disaster is her nine-year-old son.

It’s directed by Andre Lascaris and written by Lascaris and Nick Kreiss. The short just premiered at the Austin Film Festival. And from all accounts, little Munsell delivered exactly what fans of his work on Y&R have come to expect. The kid commits.

Munsell may be young, but he’s no newbie. He kicked off his career with a major win, taking home the International Presentation of Performers Child Actor of the Year Award in 2022 at just six years old.

From there, he’s built an impressive résumé filled with commercials, short films, and plenty of acting and training opportunities with some top-tier professionals in the business. And of course, daytime fans know him best as Harrison Abbott on The Young and the Restless, the beloved son of Kyle Abbott, played by Michael Mealor.

Werewolf looks like one more step in a career that’s already rising. And if this latest performance is any indication, Redding Munsell is only getting started.
