Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who finds Anya’s dead body and it’s not Kim or Moira
Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who will find Anya’s dead body after she was buried illegally on Monday (November 24).
As fans of the ITV soap will know, Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) was absolutely devastated as he watched friend and fellow slave Anya (Alia Al-Shabibi) die as a result of Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) failing to treat her infection. The farmer’s landlady, Kim Tate (Claire King), paid the farm a visit but failed to realise Celia is exploiting a group of slaves, including Bear.
Anya had arrived in the village via the back of one of Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) trucks and had been working on Celia’s farm alongside Bear and a number of other vulnerable adults. She was briefly taken in by Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly), who shared a genuine concern for Anya and wanted to help her, but she vanished.
During Monday’s trip to the Dales (November 24), Bear assumed that Ray would set about organising a funeral for Anya. But instead, Ray casually disposed of her body as he thought of a plan to get rid of it.
Bear was infuriated and pinned Ray up against the wall as he clutched onto a red bracelet he had removed from Anya’s dead body.
Elsewhere, Celia paid a visit to Butlers to discuss business with Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb), who was sorting out items to be donated to the charity shop. Moments later, Celia discovered that Ray had agreed to give Anya a funeral without her knowledge.
She told Ray that they could sort out a funeral and that he needed to bring Bear and Anya’s bodies to a specific location later that evening.
Ray took Bear and Anya’s bodies and met Celia on a piece of farmland that belongs to the Butlers. The two men then dug a grave and placed Anya’s body inside it, unaware at the time that the blanket concealing the woman’s body actually belonged to Moira.
Bear also tied Anya’s bracelet to a tree to mark her final resting place. But in a twist, Emmerdale fans are now convinced Ruby will recognise Anya’s bracelet and consequently see the shallow grave, which will lead her to find the dead body.
Taking to Facebook, one person pondered: “Ooh, I wonder if Ruby finds Anya’s ribbon that Bear tied to the tree.”
A second added: “Oh yes. I hope she does. I don’t like this storyline. I want Bear to realise they are bad people.”
A third chimed in: “My thoughts exactly! I just can’t imagine Ruby walking through Butler’s, and would anyone else take notice of the ribbon? Although I’m sure they’ll think of a reason for her to be there if needed!”
“Maybe Ruby spots an unmarked grave and thinks it’s Anthony’s, but spots the bracelet she gave Anya,” suggested a fan.
“That’s what I was thinking too! I remember Caleb got that bit of land from Kim a while ago, and wondered maybe Ruby could be on the fields for something to do with that? But it was too focused on to be nothing, I think!” explained another.
