Coronation Street cancelled tonight as soaps schedules plunged into chaos
CORONATION Street has been cancelled tonight – and fans will have to wait until Friday for a new episode.
The ITV soap has been shunted out of its 8pm slot to make way for the National Television Awards.

It means fans will have an excruciatingly long wait to discover the aftermath of three bombshell plots.
In Monday’s episode Lisa Swain was rocked to her core when she came face to face with her very much dead wife Becky – four years after she was killed.
Dropping her wine all over her new floors, Lisa was unable to speak at the bombshell.
Meanwhile in other news the Dobbs family faced devastation as Tyrone was badly injured in a hit and run.
The mechanic has been left paralysed in the incident with his family left utterly devastated.
And in happier news, David Platt discovered that he is to be a father again.
After finding a positive pregnancy test in the bin and accusing his teen daughter Lily, David was swiftly put right by wife Shona.
Shona told David: “David, Lily – where is she?”
He told her: “Oh she’s upstairs. She’s locked herself in her room, she hates me apparently.”
“Well it’s hardly surprising, is it?” Shona hit back. “What were you thinking?”

“What do you mean what was I thinking?” replied David, still convinced his daughter is pregnant.
“What was I supposed to do – congratulate her?”
But then Shona dropped a bombshell of her own.
“No but you could’ve congratulated me, well, us,” she told him.
“It wasn’t her test, was it? It was mine you muppet.”
