1. Gun horror

Inside Aaron Dingle’s (played by Danny Miller) and Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) apartment, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is gagged and bound, with a gun still aimed directly at him. Suddenly, Aaron knocks Robert unconscious, and John thinks there could be hope for a life with Aaron far away from Yorkshire. As Aaron and John prepare to leave, Robert is still knocked out cold. Aaron later leans into John for a passionate kiss, and the latter suddenly grabs the gun. After a struggle, Aaron secures the gun and orders John to drive them to a police station.

2 Mackenzie’s dangerous driving

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Rob) starts to simmer with rage following his wife Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) heartbreaking betrayal. He somehow manages to suppress his feelings and persuades her to get into his car. However, as they are in the vehicle, Charity soon clocks that Mack knows about her deceit and has put her in a dangerous situation. Charity finally admits that the baby she’s growing for her grandchild, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), might not be hers, and Mack is left heartbroken at the scale of her lies. He urges her to tell Sarah the truth and starts driving the car at high speed – could they also be in grave danger?

3 Marlon and Rhona’s guilty secrets

Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) looks guilty as she stashes something into a drawer. Later, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) makes a secret call as Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) looks shift as he sends a text. Both are concerned as they haven’t found their troubled daughter, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), yet, but it’s clear they are carrying guilt about something. Outside the veterinary surgery, April appears dishevelled but manages to make her way home. Marlon’s thrilled to see her, but Rhona is alarmed, fearing she’s being hunted down by her drug-dealing bosses.
