Emmerdale star Laura Norton wrapped up her 2025 as she admitted she’s “ready to dive in” as the new year approaches.

Actress Laura Norton joined the ITV soap in 2012 and took on the role of Kerry Wyatt. She joined the soap as the estranged mother of Amy Wyatt who was later adopted by Val and Eric Pollard.

Away from the Dales, Laura is engaged to former Emmerdale star Mark Jordon who appeared in the Yorkshire-based soap as Daz Spencer before he left in 2019.

Taking to her Instagram as she reflected on the past year, Laura shared a carousel of snaps and penned: “2 0 2 5 you won us over and I’ve loved being in, in and around you

“We have found ourselves on one heck of a rollercoaster in this life, but we’ve learnt to turn pain into purpose and although we live something very real every single day we also know how to live it up

“To anyone out there who’s had their toughest yet, I promise there’s light at the end of the tunnel and to anyone living their very best, good for you, hold onto it.”

The actress added: “It’s an ever-changing wild ride. All I know is I’m so grateful for all I have, an amazing family and the very best of friends… 2026 – I’m ready to dive in”.

The snaps included her filming the Valentine’s Day limo crash, where the Emmerdale cast bid farewell to three stars, including Roxy Shahidi. Another pic was of Laura and Isabel Hodgins at the latter’s wedding earlier this year.

Laura was also joined by a star-studded guestlist at the Cure Usher Ball – an event created to raise awareness and money for the charity fundraiser.

Both of the couple’s children were diagnosed with Usher syndrome. It causes impairments to hearing and vision, and currently has no cure. Many of her ITV co-stars showed up to raise money for the important cause as they tirelessly campaign for a cure.

Over in the Dales, Laura has had a busy end to the year. While Sarah and Jacob headed to the registry office on their own, their surprise was paramount as they saw Kerry and Eric Pollard doing the exact same thing.

Kerry was dressed head to toe in hot pink, while Pollard looked rather suave in his suit. Leaving the room as man and wife, the pair were interrogated and admitted it was purely a financial agreement, with Kerry agreeing to be his sixth wife.

This came after Kerry found out a bank account had been set up in her name, with Pollard later informing her that he was setting money aside to support Jacob after he had passed.
