Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has been flooded with messages from her co-stars and fans as she shared a personal update alongside her ‘twin’.

The actress is best known for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, having been recast in the role of Sarah Platt’s daughter back in 2015. But away from the cobbles, fans have seen Lucy building her family alongside her partner, Ryan Ledson.

The couple welcomed her second child, Nancy, into the world at the start of 2025 and their newest bundle of joy’s arrival came after Lucy and footballer Ryan welcomed their son, Sonny, back in 2023, following a tragic miscarriage with their first pregnancy.

It was then in November, amid celebrating her 30th birthday, that Lucy confirmed Ryan had popped the question and that they were officially engaged. Their romance, which came almost a year after she was reported to have split from her former boyfriend of three years, Tom Leech, blossomed in lockdown after they had got talking on the celebrity dating app, Raya, and the pair went public with their relationship in June 2021.

But back to now and Lucy was left emotional as she and Ryan were seen celebrating their daughter’s first birthday on Sunday (January 11). The soap star first took to Instagram with a string of photos of Nancy, taken during the little one’s very own photo shoot to mark the special occasion.

Alongside the post, the mum-of-two gushed: “1 today. Happy 1st birthday to the girl we dreamed of. you are pure magic my girl. we all love you so much. happy birthday.” She added: “Thank you @kerryhughes_photography for capturing these photos of nancy almost a year after we got her tiny new born ones.”

And her Corrie co-stars, past and present, were quick to respond. Helen Flanagan said: “Happy birthday beautiful Nancy. Your twin.” Charlotte Jordan replied: “Nancyyyyy drewwww. She looks just like her mama.” Vicky Myers commented: “Happy 1st Birthday, beautiful Nancy! Have a magical day, all of you.” Sally Carman-Duttine gushed: “She’s a lil beauty.” Lucy-Jo Hudson added: “Beautiful. Happy 1st birthday sweet one.”

Meanwhile, Lucy later returned to her social media platform with pictures of her and Ryan marking Nancy’s first birthday with a party at their family home. “A perfect birthday for a perfect gworl,” the 30-year-old shared.
