Brittany Combs Undergoes Weight Loss Surgery

Brittany Combs is known for her time on 1000-Lb Sisters. She is married to Chris Combs, who is the brother of Amy and Tammy Slaton. However, fans love Brittany on the show. Recently, she was working toward being able to get weight loss surgery. She finally hit her goal and was able to do so. The episode showed her going back, and Chris being a nervous wreck. Of course, fans are excited to see her transformation. All of their family was thrilled for her as she had wanted this for a while. She even cut out all the pop to make this work, and that was difficult for her.

She Is Defended After Viewers Make Mean Comments

When Brittany was preparing to be taken back for surgery, fans noticed that she was balding in some spots. This opened a conversation on Reddit. However, other fans came to her defense and were not happy that it was brought up:

• “It’s alopecia,”
• “I’ve seen her older pics and it started quite a while ago, and she is very self conscious about it. She has extremely long hair. Please, no mean comments from anyone. It’s something beyond her control.”
• “Please don’t comment on it,”
•  “It hurts when people ask about it. It’s not like we can control our bodies from seeing freaking hair as a threat.”
• “Geez, leave her alone,”

They know that the condition is hard for Brittany and that there is nothing she can do about it. So, they were right there by her side and let the poster know that they should not be commenting on her appearance.

 

It seems as though fans did not like Brittany’s hair being brought up. They know that it is alopecia, so they do not think it is kind for people to even discuss her, as it can be hurtful. At the same time, some believe that there is more to the story, which is still a private matter. However, now others know what is going on and not to bring it up, as it can be hurtful in a sense.
