Sydney Bullock on The Bold and the Beautiful: “I’m Not Luna in a Mask”

Sydney Bullock made her soap opera debut on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2025 as Ms. Dylan, Hayes’s art teacher. What was initially supposed to be a short run of three episodes eventually turned into much more. She is now on contract and involved in a front-burner storyline.

Of course, after her initial storyline, where Luna (Lisa Yamada) caused chaos at the beach house, she, Liam, and Sheila all go shot, Dylan went off the radar for a while. Then, out of nowhere, she returned with a shocking confession. She admitted that she had accidentally killed Luna while Luna was trying to get away rom the cops.

Naturally, the timing of her return raised eyebrows among viewers. Some even speculated that Dylan might actually be Luna Nozawa in a mask. Something soaps are notorious for doing. But Bullock recently set the record straight in an interview with Soap Opera Digest.

Sydney Bullock Speaks Out

“As far as I know, I’m not Luna in a mask or Luna with plastic surgery to look like Dylan,” Bullock shares with the outlet.

“I think Dylan, she’s genuine. She’s not a psychopath. She can maybe be a bad girl — not evil — but I think that she’s maybe got a little bit of rebellion in her. So not Luna 2.0, but maybe not quite as sweet and innocent as Electra. As far as I know, she’s not psycho. She’s not putting people in cages. She’s just maybe a little looser on the moral high ground, unintentionally. But she gets swept up.”

Basically, Dylan is a sweet girl who’s clearly attracted to Will Spencer, but she doesn’t want to hurt Electra.

Recently, Dylan ran into RJ Forrester, and of course, there were some sparks. But she was supposed to leave town after lying to Electra and Will that she had gotten a job and had to go. Thanks to Ivy’s demands. So, will she actually leave? Or will Dylan find a reason to stick around and stir up more drama? That remains to be seen.
