Young & Restless’ Courtney Hope Slips Into New Role With an Eye On Fashion: ‘So Honored!’
It’s always a thrill whenever we can see our favorite soap stars outside of daytime and when they are chosen to step into important roles that are linked to the industry, well, that’s even more special. The Young and the Restless’ Courtney Hope (Sally) has expressed just how excited she is to have been picked as this year’s host for the 28th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards.
“So honored to be hosting,” Hope posted in a story on her official Instagram in regard to supporting the “industries top visionaries!”

And the Costume Designers Guild shared a post as well to announce the news, “We are thrilled to announce that Daytime Emmy Award–winning actress Courtney Hope will host the 28th Costume Designers Guild Awards!” They went on to acknowledge not only her longtime daytime roles on both Young & Restless and Bold & Beautiful, but for the “true multi-hyphenate entertainer[’s]” other television, film and gaming credits. “An accomplished dancer, model, and fitness professional, she brings dynamic energy, creativity, and passion to the CDGA stage.”
The annual ceremony, which honors outstanding achievement in costume design for film, television, short form productions and costume illustration, will take place tonight, February 12, at The Ebell of Los Angeles.
