Tuesday’s General Hospital Recap: Thanks to Chase, Michael’s Served a Search Warrant

Lucas shows up at The Metro Court to see Carly and eat some humble pie. He confesses to his sister that she was right all along about Marco, who is up to his eyeballs in Sidwell’s business, and he owes her an apology.

Lucas is sorry to Carly GH

Lucas won’t go into details of what he overheard, but says he’s not going to the police because he doesn’t want to see Marco arrested. He says he confronted him, and Marco was taken advantage of by Sidwell, who promised him retribution for his mother’s death. Carly asks what if Marco tells his father what Lucas knows, but Lucas is certain he won’t. (Oh, poor delulu Lucas!)

Carly tells Lucas he can’t stay at Wyndemere one more day. Lucas explains that Marco promised that once this current business is over, he’ll distance himself from Sidwell, so he’s agreed to stay for now.

Ric Catches On To Sonny

Ric has breakfast with Sonny in hopes his brother will throw more legal work his way. That’s when Turner walks by, and she says hello to them. Sonny invites her to join them. She declines but tells him that she has an update on Rocco.

Justine sits down and says Rocco has done a great job with his community service and will likely fulfill his hours soon. Ric and Sonny are pleased, and Ric notices the looks between his brother and Justine.

Justine gives Ric and Sonny news GH

Once Turner takes off, Ric asks his brother what is going on with him and Justine. He wonders why Justine is having pleasant conversations with him in public instead of focusing on putting him away.

Laura Has a Big Ask of Alexis

Alexis stops by Laura’s office, and the mayor was hoping her friend would tell her what she knows about Drew’s condition, as his office isn’t telling her much. Alexis says he’s completely locked-in, and she hears he won’t be able to complete his term.

Laura has a question for Alexis GH

Laura says this leaves the city with an empty seat in Congress, and the Governor has tasked her with making a recommendation to fill it. Laura was thinking she would be perfect for the position.

Alexis is flattered, but she’s never considered public office. Laura says she’s someone with whom she can work, and they both only want what is best for Port Charles. Their talk inevitably turns to Sidwell, and Laura admits she’d like to have Alexis on her side to fight Sidwell from using this town for his own interests.

Tracy Makes Demands of Sidwell

Tracy shows up at Wyndemere to tell Sidwell that Maxie Jones has recovered and is eager to return to work. She also says the free rein to use Deception for his company’s shipping is over. She wants them to return to their original agreement, with him only supplying them with zincite.

Tracy has some demands of Sidwell GH

Sidwell states that they should see what the other partners think and reminds her that he helped dig them out of the black. Sidwell tells Tracy he is not going anywhere, then asks Pascal to show Tracy out because their meeting is over.

Pascal Tattles on Lucas

Pascal wastes no time throwing Lucas under the bus to Sidwell, saying the doctor was eavesdropping on his and Marco’s conversation yesterday. Pascal feels Lucas needs to be dealt with, which Sidwell notes would please his butler. He asks Pascal to watch over Lucas, and should Lucas convince Marco to leave Wyndemere, he’ll be there to console his son at Lucas’ funeral.

Pascal tattles on Lucas GH

Willow Clocks Out

Willow shows up at the hospital to check in with Liz and hand in her letter of resignation. She explains her family has to be her priority right now. Once she’s settled in with her kids, and if Drew gets better, then she may consider returning to GH. Liz says this place won’t be the same without her, and they embrace.

Willow resigns Liz GH

Chase Goes Rogue Again

Chase shows up at the PCPD to sign some HR paperwork. He overhears Nathan telling Molly that his search through the evidence against Michael has turned up no new leads, and they may be at a dead end.

Chase takes a moment to speak with Molly, who says she’s recused herself from Michael’s case. She suggests he let it go, too. She gets a text and has to excuse herself.

Chase tips of Nathan GH

Chas then speaks with Nathan, who reminds him that he can’t discuss this investigation with him. Chase claims his sole concern is protecting Dante from being accused of covering up for Michael. He points out that there was no sign of forced entry into Drew’s house, so what if Michael managed to get a key to the congressman’s house? (What a rat Chase has become. I look forward to his discovering Willow played his so hard!)

Dante and Michael Remain At Odds

At the Quartermaines ’, Michael confronts Dante in the kitchen about how they’ve barely spoken since Willow’s trial, and wonders if they’re ever going to speak again.

Dante Michael not talking GH

The brothers get into it, with Dante saying Michael lying about his alibi put him in a hard position and left him with egg on his face after he defended him. Michael explains he didn’t want Dante to recuse himself from the investigation because he believed Dante would find the shooter, which wasn’t him. Michael also points out that they both know why he has reason not to trust the legal system. Dante tells his brother he has faith that Nathan will bring this case to a conclusion.

Nathan Raises Concerns

Dante heads to the station and chats with Nathan about Maxie’s waking up. Nathan says he’s been invited to her welcome-home celebration but feels he should wait for her to reach out to him first. Nathan then says something’s come up in the Drew Cain shooting, something they overlooked. What if Michael had a key to Drew’s house?

Nathan and Dante meet with Justine about this new possibility, and Justine suggests they get a search warrant.

Chase Makes Accusations

Chase heads home and finds Michael in the kitchen. He does his best to ignore him, and Michael asks if they can just coexist. Chase lashes out that they can’t, and Michael should turn himself in for framing Willow. Tracy walks in and can’t believe Chase is still blaming Michael for shooting Drew.

Various Meetings

Molly stops by the hospital to talk to Liz and admits she and her sister went to the hatchet range, and they saw her with her dad. As it looked like a date, she didn’t interrupt them.

Sidwell meets with Willow, whom he summoned, out on the parapet of Wyndemere. (Too bad he’s not going to push her off!)

In the Show’s Final Moments

At the hospital, Liz confirms to Molly that she and Ric were on a date, and she really enjoyed it. This time around, it’s been easy and fun with Ric.

At the Metro Court, Ric wonders if Sonny’s interested in Justine as a friend, an adversary, or as a woman.

At the bar, Lucas tells his sister that he’s planning on taking Marco with him and getting away from Sidwell and Wyndemere.

Justine flags down Dante at the PCPD to let him know she’s turning over this case to ADA Arden, as she’s biased and believes Willow is guilty. She also doesn’t want this case to ruin her career, and he should consider the same.

Michael Chase and Tracy GH

In the Qs’ kitchen, Chase tells Tracy that Willow didn’t shoot Drew; Michael did. Tracy warns Chase that if he can’t let this go, then he’s in the wrong family. That’s when Nathan arrives with a search warrant for the keys to Drew’s house. Michael, assuming he has nothing to hide, hands over his keys.

In Laura’s office, Alexis tells the mayor she’ll consider the idea, but Laura needs an answer tomorrow. She hopes to call her Congresswoman Davis soon.

Sidwell and Willow GH

At Wyndemere, Sidwell says he’s heard Willow is caring for Drew alone at home, and he has a proposition. He wants her to consider taking Drew’s place in Congress.

On the next General Hospital, Nina tells Willow she has a secret weapon,, and Nathan tells Dante he has no idea what will happen when he and Maxie come face to face.
