Blood Aces movie trailer (Yellowstone spin-off) | First look, latest showtimes
This ambitious project brings together Cole Hauser, beloved for his role as Rip in Yellowstone, and Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone. Produced by Stallone’s Balboa Productions and Hauser’s American Outlaw Entertainment, with Amazon MGM Studios on board, the series adapts Doug J. Swanson’s “Blood Aces,” the true story of Benny Binion, the Texas gangster who helped shape Las Vegas and the world of poker.

While there’s no official Yellowstone connection, the spirit and tone of the show will feel familiar to fans. Benny Binion, whose life inspired the series, was a man who redefined poker and rodeo, echoing the grit and ambition of characters like Travis Wheatley from Yellowstone.
With Cole Hauser in the lead, viewers can expect the same tough, anti-hero energy that made Rip so iconic. Hauser’s close relationship with Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, suggests Sheridan may be involved as a consultant, guest, or even a writer, further blending the worlds.
The story of Benny Binion is legendary. Starting as a small-time hustler in Fort Worth—the same city where Yellowstone spin-offs are filmed—he moved to Dallas and began building his gambling empire.
Binion’s ambition didn’t stop there; he eventually relocated to Las Vegas, where he became a full-blown legend. He founded the World Series of Poker, ran casinos with a mix of charm and authority, and ensured no one could challenge his dominance. Hauser, who is also producing, promises to bring depth and authenticity to Binion’s complex character—a man loaded with ambition, vision, flaws, and undeniable legacy.

Cole Hauser has expressed his excitement about the project, calling Binion “one of the great Western American characters and success stories of the 20th century.” He adds, “His legacy is undeniable.
How he built it is an incredible story which we can’t wait to tell. It’s a privilege to play him and an honor to produce this with Sylvester Stallone and MGM.” Stallone, as executive producer, shares the enthusiasm, describing Binion as a “New West icon” who connected glamorous, dangerous, and shady worlds, helping to build Las Vegas and popularize poker. Stallone believes this story will captivate audiences and that Hauser is perfect for the role.
As for the cast, only Hauser’s involvement is confirmed so far, with Stallone staying behind the camera for now. However, if Taylor Sheridan participates, Stallone might take on a supporting role.
Expect familiar faces from Yellowstone or even Tulsa King to join, bringing their mastery to the project. Don’t be surprised to see Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, or Samuel L. Jackson in the cast.

There’s no official release date yet, but given the scale of the project, a 2027 premiere seems likely. “Blood Aces” promises to blend the drama, action, and Western spirit that Yellowstone fans love with the real-life story of a man who changed the face of Las Vegas and poker forever.
Will you be watching this Yellowstone-style series? Which actors would you love to see join the cast? The saga continues, and “Blood Aces” looks ready to deliver another unforgettable ride.
