General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may show off her stubborn side and ignore Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) warning.

Britt recently pitched another way to steal her meds and suggested she could inject Pascal (Marc Forget) with sodium pentothal, but Lucas didn’t approve.

If Britt knocked Pascal out before he could administer her usual treatment dose, she could steal that vial for reverse engineering.

However, Lucas shut Britt’s suggestion down since it was too risky.

In fact, Lucas pushed Britt to put that syringe away since he didn’t like the idea of her running around with sodium pentothal. I

t was a recipe for disaster as far as Lucas was concerned.

It feels like a catastrophe could indeed be brewing if Britt moves forward with this plan of hers after all.

Britt will have a good reason to since Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) isn’t going to come through for her the way Lucas is hoping.

Although Marco agreed to help and apparently means it, GH spoilers say he’ll face a stumbling block.

Now that Pascal has raised so much distrust when it comes to Lucas and even Marco, he may be a problem.

It’s possible that when Marco goes to steal a dose from the last known location of the vials, Pascal will pop up and wonder if he’s looking for something.

Pascal might point out that Britt’s medication has been moved elsewhere and leave Marco in the dark on the new hiding spot.

Regardless, Marco will meet back up with Lucas eventually and admit there’s an issue.

Britt will end up leaning on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for support later, so she’ll no doubt be frustrated over all the setbacks.

Will Britt decide to take matters into her own hands and revisit that sodium pentothal idea?

It’d be silly for the writers to bring it up unless Britt was actually going to try it.

With that in mind, Britt may be ready for Pascal the next time he prepares to administer her injection.

However, Pascal may have learned from his mistakes after the way Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) ambushed him.

Perhaps Pascal will be stronger and more aware than Britt suspects.

It could lead to Pascal overpowering Britt and injecting her with the sodium pentothal instead.

On the other hand, maybe someone like Lucas or even Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could pop up while snooping.

It’s easy to imagine one of them trying to intervene if they witness a syringe struggle in progress.

There might be some situation where Britt’s syringe gets jabbed into someone else and creates an unintended victim – one who just might become a hostage at Wyndemere.

Of course, it’s also possible Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could simply catch Britt after she injects Pascal.

That would still put Britt in a tight spot and could bring serious consequences.

One way or another, General Hospital spoilers say Britt’s backup plan is bound to go wrong, so stay tuned for any terrible news to come.
