Casualty had a mini break, but the show is now back in full swing, and following the night-time closure of the trauma unit
After having a mini break, Casualty returned in style on Saturday night, and it was a dramatic episode that saw Holby City General stripped of its major trauma unit following a disastrous assessment from the CQC.
As viewers return to Holby, they will see the consequences as Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) clashes with Jan Jenning (Di Botcher) as to whether to bring a struggling baby into the ED during the night-time shift.
Elsewhere, Matty Linklater (Aron Julius) and Kim Chang (Jasmine Bayes) are shunned by the other members of staff following their mistakes that cost Holby its status, while Rida Amaan (Sarah Seggari) starts wondering about her future following a difficult shift.
Things continue to get worse for Siobhan Mackenzie (Melanie Hill) as she gets another disappointing update in her ongoing mission to get justice after being sexually assaulted.
