Emmerdale star spotted at glam Leeds bar as big role away from soap announced

An Emmerdale star has been spotted at a glam party at a popular Leeds city centre bar.

Bradley Riches, 24, who plays Lewis in Emmerdale, has offered his support to Leeds Pride during the launch event for the annual festivities – the party took place at CrowdedHouse based at Trinity Leeds. It comes as the acting star has been announced as having a role in the 2026 Leeds Pride celebrations.

The Leeds Pride team posted on social media: “We’re beyond excited to reveal that Bradley Riches will be hosting the main stage at Leeds Pride 2026 alongside our incredible line up of hosts.

“You’ll know Bradley from the smash-hit Netflix series Heartstopper and as a star of Emmerdale and now he’s bringing his energy to Sunday, July 19 for what’s set to be an amazing celebration.

“We absolutely can’t wait to welcome him to celebrate Leeds Pride 2026 together.” As we’ve previously reported, This year, for the first time in Leeds Pride history, the official celebrations will be held across two days – on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19.

The programme will feature a full weekend of diverse events, including the Leeds Pride Drag Brunch Fest, street parties across the city and the iconic Pride parade, which promises to be the most spectacular yet.
