Buckle up, folks, ’cause this is gonna get ugly. General Hospital’s Dante may have taken the news that pal Nathan and ex-wife Lulu have caught feelings for one another in relative stride. But Maxie is apoplectic that her supposed bestie has the hots for her back-from-the-dead husband. And as you’ll see in the sneak preview below, she’s not about to let it go. “That changes how I feel about us,” she yells at Lulu.

But all may not be lost for the twosome. You’ll recall that they started out years ago as nemeses, then gradually became frenemies and, finally, the closeknit friends that we know and love. So given that extremely rocky history, there’s every reason to think that in time, they’ll find a way to kiss and make up again.

Hey, if Lulu could forgive Maxie for passing off her daughter as “Lante’s,” anything is possible, right?

Alexa Havins is holding out hope for the gal pals along with us. “No matter what, they will always be there for each other,” she tells Soap Opera Digest. “Even if there’s some hurt along the way, I don’t think Lulu would ever walk away from Maxie without a fight.”
