Jordan’s Pregnancy Results Lead to Some Honest Talks, and Josslyn Catches Sonny and Carly Together
Sonny finally breaks the news to Diane that he hired Ric for when it comes to “complicated deals with people with badges.” It’s really for her own good. That goes over about as well as you might imagine, but Sonny insists his brother’s changed and he’s the only family Sonny has. That’s the only reason he’s doing this!
No One’s Happy About Ric
Alexis is waiting for Diane at the Port Charles Grill when Ric walks in, spots her and sits himself down to thank her for saving his life and holding him hostage. It was the therapy he needed to realize the only thing that mattered was family! Aw. He goes on and on about changing until Alexis just says she hopes so and sends him off to pester his date (Liz), who just arrived.

Diane follows shortly behind to ask if Alexis knew what Sonny was up to. Yup! And she’s the one who advised him to be upfront with Diane. At the other table, Ric tells Liz that he’ll be working so closely with Sonny and his “business” dealings. Liz’s face falls fast. It’s not a good idea, “for so many reasons.” (OK, but how do you really feel, Liz?)
Josslyn Runs Into Cullum
Josslyn pauses at the Brown Dog before joining Trina, Kai, Gino and Emma, thinking back to her fight with Carly. When she hears about Trina singing at Charlie’s open mic night, she says she’ll totally (try) to make it! As they all toast, Cullum and Brennan walk in. Which means Joss has to run.
Big paper due! Gotta go! Trina walks her out, but they can’t get by before Cullum spots her to say hi as he gets some beer. What the what, Trina asks her friend. Joss makes some excuse about him just being a random creepy guy she keeps running into. Which is… a concerning excuse. But she says she’s really dipping because of Brennan — and her mom. Trina’s advice? Try to talk things out with Carly.

Brennan, meanwhile, wanders over to ask Emma how Anna’s doing and gets told in no uncertain terms it’s none of his business. Then she follows him back to the table and tells him to leave Anna the hell alone.
Stella Gives Portia a Reality Check
Stella waltzes into Portia’s office and tells her to stay out of Jordan’s business. Jordan faced the test (she’s not pregnant), and now Portia has to face her resentment towards Jordan. “Snap out of it, now!”

Eventually, Portia admits she ended their marriage, not Jordan. She and Curtis are to blame. No one else. Portia tells her to work through this, for the baby that’s coming and for her and Isaiah. The doc thanks Stella, they hug and all is forgiven!
It sets Portia up perfectly for when Isaiah stops in and she promises her feelings for Curtis are in the past. Isaiah knows that. He trusts her and is just glad she’s moving forward.
Jordan Tells Curtis All
Jordan gets home to Curtis and tells him about the pregnancy test that was, blessedly, negative. Mostly, she was scared until Stella pushed her to do it. And that was actually good! They talked things out. Portia, though, thinking she’s pregnant… that’s another matter.

But Jordan gets it. Curtis is all the more amazed to see how gracefully Jordan’s been handling Portia. “She’s a good person,” Jordan insists. The two feel better than ever that they can share their feelings with each other.
Will Josslyn Expose Valentin to Sonny?
Carly finds Valentin waiting for her in the dark, waiting to ask what sleeping together meant. Does she like like him? (OK, that last part he didn’t ask, but it’s implied.) Carly tries awkwardly dodging things, but after Valentin tells her about his talk with Jason, she admits she has no regrets. Neither does Val. He smiles and goes back up to the attic.

Sonny stops by next and gets an earful about Josslyn and their fight. (Knew it!) Carly keeps it vague outside of Joss being angry with him, but Sonny has no problem keeping his distance if it’s what Carly needs.
But it’s too late when Josslyn barges in and literally steps between Sonny and his mom! He offers to “figure out” whatever the problem is between them and, well…. “If you do the right thing by Donna and all your surviving children, and leave the country, I’ll be sure to send you a postcard.” W.o.w. She then turns on Carly.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Alexis suggests that Diane just let Ric get all the mud slung at him, and when Sonny comes crawling back, Diane can charge him triple. Ric, meanwhile, tells Liz the real reason he’s working with Sonny is to get a stable job and put down roots for her.
Sonny’s face is priceless as he stands behind Joss, listening to her go off on Carly and her horrible choices. The choices she’s making right now. Oop. (Watch out, Valentin!) She storms out, leaving Sonny mystified.
