Frank Valentini Teases ‘Big Plans’ For ‘General Hospital’
General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini is taking to social media to reflect on the series iconic 63rd anniversary.
The Daytime Emmy Award winning executive producer shared his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), where he posted, “I would like to take a moment and thank all of the fans who have helped General Hospital reach its 63rd Anniversary.”
He continued, “Today is a very special day and celebrating it with all of you means the world to us.”
The executive producer ended his post teasing, “We have big plans going into this new season. Stay tuned. #GH”

Fans took to the comment section to celebrate the momentous occasion with Valentini.

On April 1, 1963, ABC debuted a new daytime drama, General Hospital, positioning it against NBC’s The Doctors. Set in the fictional town of Port Charles, New York, the series initially focused on the lives of doctors and nurses working at the hospital. Over time, the show expanded beyond its medical roots, evolving into a character-driven drama entered on the residents of Port Charles, including prominent families such as the Quartermaines and the Corinthos clan.
