At the hospital, Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) continues to suffer at the hands of Dr Todd (Caroline Harker) after he makes a grave mistake with her father. Although Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) steps up to Dr. Todd on his behalf, has she just ensured further torment for him?

Sunday, April 5

Suspicions raised when Rhona slips up with a lie about work, Marlon follows Rhona to Home Farm, where she tenderly cares for a viciously beaten Graham. As they almost kiss, Marlon’s heart breaks.
When Cain learns that Moira’s murder charges are likely to be dropped, though she’s still facing the rap for Celia Daniels’ (Jaye Griffiths) human trafficking and slavery and she requires an MRI, he decides to keep the information about his surgery to himself so as not to stress her further.
Meanwhile, Eric continues his manipulation of Kerry, faking a fall and leaving her wracked with guilt.
Monday, April 6

Liam orchestrates a secret meeting between Cain and Moira in the hospital. After they ‘catch up’, Cain opens up about his fear over the upcoming operation, but Moira stands firm: they’ll face whatever comes together.
Marlon can’t contain himself and asks Rhona outright if she’s still in love with Graham, and her look gives it all away. She tries desperately to explain her feelings and later, heads to meet Graham himself.
Eric fumes when he hears Kerry and Jai discussing care homes, mistakenly believing that they’re planning to put him in one. Confronting them, Eric reveals that he’s known about their relationship all along and when Kerry realises that he’s been faking injuries, she’s incandescent.
Tuesday, April 7

When Dr. Todd’s father goes into cardiac arrest, Jacob ignores his ‘do not resuscitate’ marker and performs CPR.An infuriated Dr. Todd lays into Jacob brutally, leaving him in tears, before sending him home.
Joyful for the first time in forever, Cain tosses Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) his car keys before heading to the hospital, though his happiness is short lived. On the phone to Moira, telling her that he sees a brighter future for them, he’s smashed into by a car.
Elsewhere, when Eric kicks Kerry out, he’s given some sage words from Caleb Milligan (William Ash), but when he tries to make amends, Kerry tells him she wants a divorce and is leaving, Graham leaves Marlon and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) in abject shock after they plan their trip to Andy’s Man Club.
Wednesday, April 8

A distraught Kyle finds Cain’s broken, bruised and bleeding body in the road, while Moira, still on the phone, frantically tries to figure out what’s happened.
Concerned, Kerry starts to worry that there’s much more going on with Jacob than he’s letting on.
Thursday, April 9

When she catches wind of Dr. Todd tearing into Jacob once again, Kerry fires up and goes head to head with the intimidating doctor.
Promising Dr. Todd that she’s met her match and she won’t be bullied, Dr. Todd fights fire with fire and reels off all of Jacob’s mistakes. As they part, Kerry is terrified that she’s made things ten times worse
Robert is struck with an idea to destroy Joe for good, and forms an uneasy alliance with Ross to see it comes to fruition.
Friday, April 10

As Robert enacts his scheme alongside Ross by trying to hack into Joe’s laptop, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) arrives and catches them red handed.
As she presses, Robert breaks and comes clean about the video of Victoria and John and Joe’s blackmail campaign.
