IS THIS THE END OF AN ERA?! The Moment We ALL Feared Just Arrived for Cain Dingle…
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has already endured a turbulent start to 2026, but the chaos surrounding him is far from over. In future episodes of Emmerdale, his world is thrown into even greater danger when he is brutally struck by a car.
A gripping new video teases the three key figures who could be responsible. They all have their reasons to be distracted while behind the wheel, but which one ends up putting Cain in hospital?
Prior to this incident taking place, Cain visits Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) in prison and learns that her murder charges are going to be dropped. It’s good news at last, but it’s quickly overshadowed by the fact Moira is still facing complicity in modern slavery, and also needs an MRI at the hospital.
When Moira arrives at the hospital, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) steps in with a plan to help his bestie.

He hides Cain in the changing room and manages to orchestrate a situation that allows Moira to head in there without a police officer.
Liam leaves them to it and very quickly, Cain and Moira become intimate. Afterwards, Cain tells Moira about his fears regarding the operation. Moira reassures him and says whatever comes their way next, they will face together.
Feeling happy after his secret meeting, Cain heads home and decides to give Kyle (Huey Quinn) the keys to his new car.
Just as Cain departs Wishing Well ready to go to the hospital, he takes a call from Moira. Seconds later, he’s knocked down by a car.

This new video confirms that Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) are the three possible people who will hit Cain.
The trio are all in the middle of stressful situations right now, which means they’re at risk of not being totally alert while behind the wheel. For Kerry, she’s dealing with Eric Pollard (Chris Chittel) meddling in her fling with Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson).
Graham, as mysterious as he is, is also just a man yearning for Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry). Next week’s spoilers confirm that Rhona will choose between Graham and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), so could Graham get in his car after being rejected by her?
The final possible culprit is Jacob. He’s currently working as a resident doctor at Hotten General, but is being pushed to the limit as a result of bullying boss Doctor Todd (Caroline Harker).
But who will put Cain’s life in danger?
