Bold & Beautiful 2026 Preview: Boss Bradley Bell Reveals Whether Luna’s Secretly Alive — Plus, a ‘Fresh, New Rivalry,’ *Another* Wedding and the Romance That’s a ‘Hard No’

Chaos goblins have taken hold of The Bold and the Beautiful — meaning that the year ahead promises to be unpredictable from start to finish. But, if we can glean any hints of what’s to come, they’re sure to be doled out by the soap’s executive producer/headwriter, Bradley Bell. Luckily, in a recent interview with TV Insider, he gazed into his crystal ball to offer us a peek at the 12 months ahead.

Welcome Back, Luna? Eh…

Though Dylan seems to have all the makings of the next Luna — and some have speculated that she could actually be the late psycho in a better disguise than a wig and a mask — the boss assures that the demented character “is dead. We all saw it.”

Then again, we also saw Taylor, Finn, Sheila and more die once upon a time. But for the moment, anyway, it doesn’t sound like Li’s granddaughter poses a threat. (Operative words: “for the moment.”)

So Why *Is* Dylan Back in the Thick of Things?

Dylan, on the other hand… She’s clearly twitterpated with Will. But Bell hints that where her heart is leading her now isn’t necessarily where it is going. She could well wind up as a love interest for the returning R.J. (with a recast in place). “That’s going to be some fun.”

‘Brill’ Redux?

Katie recently had a daydream-turned-nightmare in which “husband” Bill rehooked up with sis Brooke. But Bell says “he’s grown out of that.” The tycoon is now more invested in helping his better half stick it to Forrester Creations via her own fashion house, Logan. “This should be a great, fresh, new rivalry.”

And while Taylor’s psychiatric sessions with Deacon have sparked a whole lot more than emotional growth on his part, when her daughter finds out, “it’s a hard no” for Steffy, Bell divulges. Who can blame her? Deacon’s “better” half Sheila has shot Steffy and nearly everyone about whom she cares about. Taylor could hardly have chosen a dicier love interest if she’d tried!

At least Carter and Daphne’s upcoming nuptials promise to be at least marginally less controversial. (Apparently, she’s gonna say “yes” awfully fast; did she forget to make him earn it?!?)
