We’ve all likely been there when dating… faced with a late one or two or how about when it’s time to call it quits… How did you wrangle that situation? Well, The Bold and the Beautiful co-stars Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) and Tanner Novlan (Finn) weighed in on some things that might help you in the future.

Though the stars are both married in real-life, Wood to Elan Ruspoli and Tanner to Kayla Ewell (ex- Caitlin), they clearly have some input from past experiences in the dating world and in a video posted by the CBS soap, they gave their take on a few fun questions.

The video began with a statement taken straight from a soap storyline, which gave them a laugh, then they were asked if it was OK to take an ex on a trip. While Wood gave a “hard pass,” Novlan gave the question pause, which pushed his co-star to insist he answer it — and his wife jumped into the comments with a laugh and a heart emoji.

Oh, and, how about “saying I love you on a first date?” Both agreed on this one. And when asked about “love at first sight,” both believed in the old phrase. But when it came to “being late to a date,” they disagreed and another question, “breaking up by a text,” left one of them saying, “oops.”
