Producer Kate Brooks shared that the writers intentionally took a “slow-burn” approach to Theo’s descent, allowing viewers to witness the psychological manipulation unfold in real time. “Theo has sacrificed everything for Todd — his family, his identity, his pride. But now we’ll see just how dark his love can turn,” she explained. “It’s a story about control, fear, and the false hope that love can fix what’s broken.”
