Coronation Street actress issues apology to fans as she makes ‘sad’ announcement
Vicky Myers has had to withdraw from the An Audience with Coronation Street tour in Glasgow.
The actress, known for her role as Lisa Swain, took to social media to explain that she won’t be appearing on stage in Scotland later this month due to a conflict with her filming schedule.
In a statement posted on her Instagram Story on Thursday (11 September), Vicky expressed: “I’m so, so, sorry to miss the Glasgow show for An Audience with Coronation Street on 24th September.
“Due to unavoidable last-minute schedule changes, I won’t be able to be there. Every possible scheduling option was explored, however it was just not possible I’m afraid. This was completely out of my control.

“I know It’ll be an incredible evening celebrating 65 years of Corrie magic. I’ll be there in spirit. Sorry, Vicky.”
The official Coronation Street Instagram page confirmed the news with a statement: “As we head towards the exciting An Audience With Coronation Street tour, we are sharing the news that due to unavoidable and complicated change in her filming schedule, Vicky is no longer able to join the Glasgow show on September 24th.
