Coronation Street fans have a shocking fan theory over Billy Mayhew’s planned exit storyline.

Fans will know that Daniel Brocklebank is set to leave the soap, with speculation suggesting that Billy will be killed off for his departure.

Some viewers have now mused that his supposed death will involve Theo or Noah, one theorising on X: “With this Theo and Todd storyline I think it’s much darker than coercive/physical abuse.

“I genuinely think he has abused his children and his ex-wife as well and I have a feeling he is going to murder Billy as he cottons on to his behaviour.”

“Theo will kill Billy!” another mused, while a third wrote that Noah could off Billy and frame Theo for the murder, proposing that Noah and Billy “somehow come to blows about Noah’s practices and the church”.

“Noah kills Billy and then frames Theo for the murder,” they added. “Of course the whole town believes it because based on Theo’s behavior as of late.

“We’ve already seen how Billy is upset with Noah using the church for his conversion therapy. And he wants Theo out of the picture so there’s no trouble for him with Danielle and the kids. And I honestly believe that he is using Danielle as well.”

Another suggested: “The word on the street is theo kills billy.”

 

Speaking previously about his exit, Brocklebank said: “I have been working on Corrie for a quarter of my life. I have adored every minute I have been in that building and have never not looked forward to going into work.

“I love everyone who works on this show and whilst I am sad to be going, I am equally excited to see what the future holds.”
