DON’T MISS IT !! Dramatic Coronation Street pictures confirm explosive Carla, Lisa and Becky showdown
Following the shock twist that Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) is still alive in Coronation Street, there is yet more drama to come for Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).
Just as things are looking up for fan-favourites Swarla, Becky’s arrival will surely rock their world, and that of daughter Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin).
Viewers will know that, until yesterday, Becky was thought to be dead, having supposedly been knocked down by a getaway car in the line of duty.
Her death hit wife Lisa hard, and she struggled with her grief alone for years.
However, over the past year, she has grown close to Carla and allowed her walls to fall down, eventually falling in love with her.
Though they have faced plenty of obstacles, including being held hostage by Rob Donovan, they have remained strong, and recently got engaged.

Lisa got down on one knee last week after several failed attempts from Carla, and the couple have been basking in the glow of their engagement ever since.
Unfortunately, that looks set to change as new pictures obtained by Metro reveal a dramatic showdown between the couple and Lisa’s not-so-late wife.
In yesterday’s episode, Betsy celebrated her 18th birthday, but the tension was high as she dealt with the grief of her mum not being there and Lisa’s overprotective nature.
To make matters worse, she witnessed a traumatic hit and run, which left her shaken.

With Betsy out and Carla having gone to the factory to figure out why the alarm was going off, Lisa was left alone in the house – but not for long.
When she heard someone come in, she expected it to be Carla, but got the shock of her life when she came face to face with Becky.
In upcoming scenes, Lisa demands answers from Becky, and the plot is set to thicken over the following weeks as Carla determines to find out the truth about Becky’s fake death.
Lisa always suspected that something was off about Becky’s death, with her partner having been under investigation for corruption at the time of her death.

When Betsy discovered this, she began to suspect that her mother’s death had been a targeted hit, and vowed to get answers, though her search ultimately led nowhere.
The detective sergeant herself even went so far as to break into DI Costello’s (Daon Bruni) office and search his emails for clues relating to Becky, only to be caught out and assured that there was nothing to find.
DI Costello appears to have been going out of his way to keep the truth about Becky’s fake death hidden, and actress Amy Cudden has teased that there is plenty more to explore when it comes to Becky’s relationship with the boss.
‘What we know so far about Becky and Costello’s relationship is just the tip of the iceberg; what’s underneath is much more complicated and hidden. It will be a lot of fun watching that unfold,’ she teased.

‘Daon Bruni is amazing and a brilliant scene partner. He’s going to tangle the story even further and create more brilliant drama and mess.’
Of course, fans will be concerned about how Becky’s arrival will impact Carla and Lisa’s relationship, especially now that Amy has confirmed Becky is looking to reunite with her wife and daughter.
‘Becky’s wife, Lisa, is about to get engaged and married to another woman, Carla. It was dangerous for Becky to return before, but her primary objective is to be with her wife and daughter. While there wasn’t a direct threat to that central family unit, she kept her distance.
‘Now that Carla is a clear threat and Lisa and Carla are deeply in love, Becky feels she must return to try and reclaim her family even if that puts her at risk.’

‘I agree with fans who might be furious to see someone come in and disrupt one of the most beautiful on-screen relationships. It’s unconscionable, and they should be angry.
‘However, it’s such a complicated relationship that other feelings will emerge as it unfolds. Things forged in fire only get stronger. Becky is a “spanner in the works,” but it doesn’t necessarily mean the worst, though it will be very difficult.
‘Ultimately, this makes for really good TV and a fun, emotional, challenging, but rewarding journey for everyone. We want to give viewers a really good show; if everything was always wrapped up neatly, it wouldn’t be interesting. Come with us on this journey!’

If these new pictures are anything to go by, there is certainly turmoil and emotional scenes ahead, as Lisa grapples with the truth of the last four years.
Will she be able to forgive Becky and welcome her back into her life?
Will this destroy Swarla, or will Carla and Lisa stick by each other through this difficult time?
As the trio face off in a dramatic showdown in the park where they used to take Betsy as a child, one thing is for certain – there are bound to be fireworks…
