Emmerdale Bear’s true location ‘uncovered’ as fans ‘rumble’ Ray’s killer
Emmerdale fans believe they’ve worked out Bear Wolf’s true location, as well as “rumbling” Ray Walters’ killer. Soap viewers will know that drug dealer Ray (Joe Absolom) and his evil mum, Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths), were running several illegal operations in the village last year.
They notably lured youngsters April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) into dealing drugs for them, as well as keeping Bear (Joshua Richards) captive on their farm, alongside several other slaves.
Noticing that her world was starting to crumble around her, Celia urged her son to kill April, while she “took care of Bear”. However, Ray didn’t adhere to his mother’s instructions and ended up stabbing her to death in their kitchen, shortly before meeting a similar fate himself.
Ray’s body was notably seen being dragged through the village, shortly before last week’s Corriedale crossover. His killer hasn’t been revealed yet, but Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) have been questioned by police this week.

During Friday’s (January 16) episode, which is now available to stream on ITVX, all eyes remained on Jai as he entered the Woolpack. In a heated moment, the depot worker soon pointed the finger at April and Dylan before storming out of the pub.
Elsewhere, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) began his search for his dad, but to no avail. Back at Tenant House, Paddy received a phone call from his wife, Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), as she continues to help her cousin Tina (Samantha Power) over in Ireland.
When Mandy offered to return home to support her husband, Paddy firmly said: “Mandy, you don’t need to do that, we’re good. Well, not good obviously, but we’ve got each other’s backs. We have to go back out to look for [Bear], we’re going to carry on searching.”
But once he put the phone down, Paddy struggled to contain his emotions. Later, as April was comforted by her family, the conversation moved on to theorising about who killed Ray. The villagers began to question who was really responsible, with it soon becoming clear that they all have secrets.

Now, some Emmerdale fans believe that Paddy could be keeping more secrets than most, with several suspecting that he might have killed Ray during a recent break from the village. That’s not all, as some viewers also believe that Bear might not be dead, and could be keeping a low profile in Ireland with Mandy.
“I find it strange that Paddy was missing on a training course for so long on the day everything kicked off. Let’s hope it wasn’t a training course and he was taking Bear to be with Mandy and coming back and killing Ray,” one person wrote on a Facebook fan page.
Another added: “I definitely like this scenario,” while a third agreed: “Me too!”
A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “Very good idea… let’s hope so. It would be great for Paddy to get retribution for what Ray and Celia did to Bear, and surely Bear isn’t dead? They can’t have killed him off screen.”
Emmerdale will dedicate next week to Ray’s mysterious death, with each episode showcasing flashbacks of the day Ray was killed, revealing what all the suspects were really up to on the day in question. Who is the real culprit?
