Emmerdale fans issue request as Lisa Riley shares update with co-star

Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley has set social media alight after posting an update alongside fellow cast member Danny Miller. The 49 year old actress has portrayed Mandy Dingle in the enduring ITV soap for numerous years, initially appearing from 1995 to 2001 before making her comeback to the village in 2019.

Meanwhile, 34 year old Danny rose to prominence as Aaron Dingle, first appearing in 2008. He’s since established himself as a beloved character amongst viewers and has featured in numerous major storylines.

Unsurprisingly, the duo have developed close bonds both on and off camera following years of working alongside one another. Treating followers to a delightful glimpse, Lisa posted a photograph with Danny on her Instagram account.

The pair beamed broadly as Lisa nestled against her colleague. Captioning the image, the actress simply wrote: “Trouble”, accompanied by several smiley face emojis.

Within moments, the comments section erupted with responses from admirers, with numerous viewers calling on producers to feature their on-screen characters in more joint storylines, reports Daily Star.

One admirer remarked: “Love when you two are in the same scene.” Another posted: “I need to see more of Lisa and Danny together.” A third declared: “Brilliant pic of two special humans in the Emmerdale family (not forgetting the I’m a Celeb family too).” Another enthused: “I absolutely adore you and Danny.”

One stated: “Great actors! Want to see you both together on Emmerdale.” Meanwhile, another supporter gushed: “Love love love this.” This comes as Lisa was recently left seething after being compelled to respond to pregnancy speculation in a furious outburst.

In 2018, the 49 year old disclosed that she and partner Al were planning to attempt IVF, but fertility examinations showed that her remaining eggs were not of the standard that medics had expected, meaning IVF might potentially be unsuccessful.

This resulted in the pair accepting that having children might not be their destiny as they processed the revelation. Now the soap actress has taken to her Instagram account to dismiss pregnancy speculation. She declared: “Hi everybody, this is no-one’s fault apart from fake news, clickbait and oh my God, what world are we living in.

“I am 100 percent not pregnant, I have been inundated today with congratulations about that. Do you know what makes this even more sick? Is the fact that only this week on Loose Women, I was talking about the fact that me and Al, my other half, we couldn’t get pregnant.”

She went on: “We tried IVF, it didn’t work but still the very strange people out there feel they need to clickbait and put out fake news that I am pregnant.

“Well I’m not and you know what, to clickbait and AI and to all of this nonsense the world is becoming, there,” she raged as she held a middle finger up to the camera. “That’s yours, utter nonsense. Clarification, I’m not pregnant. Okay, thank you! Clarification would be nice.”

The star continued: “If I was pregnant, I might have told people. Just food for thought, when you read stuff, go to the person’s social media, have a look at if they’ve said anything, if they haven’t, it’s probably fake news. Just putting it out there.”
