Emmerdale’s Danny Miller declares love as son ‘follows’ in his footsteps
Emmerdale star Danny Miller took to his social media as he gushed over eldest son Albert and remarked how he’s following in his footsteps.
Actor Danny Miller made his Emmerdale debut back in 2008 as fan favourite character Aaron Dingle. Over the years, he’s been involved in some of the biggest storylines tackled in the ITV soap.
In 2024 his whirlwind relationship with newcomer John Sugden took centre stage after the ex-Army medic raised suspicions. As viewers will recall, he turned out to have a “hero complex” which caused him to put lives in danger in order to then save them.

This saw him take the life of Nate Robinson after injecting him with something. However, Nate had an adverse reaction and his body was later dumped in the lake by John.
His long list of harrowing crimes began to grow, with him holding Mackenzie Boyd hostage in an underground war bunker, as well as throwing himself and Aaron off the edge of a cliff to pin the blame on Robert Sugden.
After he was exposed, John fled the country but returned in time for Corriedale where he was then killed in self-defence by Victoria Sugden who was desperate to get away from him.

Since then, Aaron has been trying to rebuild his relationship with Robert Sugden, and the pair even discussed bringing Robert’s son Seb back into their lives.
Away from the Dales, Danny is a father of three with wife Steph. They welcomed their third child Vincent in the summer of last year, and are now a family of five with their two other children Albert and Edith.

Taking to his Instagram, Danny shared some snaps of Albert taking to the stage with Freedom Performing Arts Studio and gushed over how his son his following in his footsteps.
The actor penned: “Two weekends. Two incredible theatre performances. And one very proud dad. Watching my son light up the stage not once, but twice — and spending 6 hours yesterday at the matinee and evening shows — was the easiest thing in the world. I’d sit there all over again today in a heartbeat.
“Seeing him fall in love with performing the way I did, following in my footsteps and carving out his own path, is something I can’t even put into words. The passion and courage at age 4 and seeing how dance and performance has given him so much confidence, and I couldn’t be prouder to call him my son.”Amazing to see so many talented children on the stage, the dancing, facial expressions, vocals at such young ages were incredible and left me in awe!
“Not to mention such incredible choreography from fantastic teachers, can’t begin to imagine to work that goes in such amazing shows for the children. Thanks to everyone involved.”
His Emmerdale co-star Lawrence Robb commented: “Boys a star” as former Corrie actress and podcast co-host Brooke Vincent left multiple clapping emojis.
