Emmerdale star Bradley Riches has been flooded with messages from fans as he shared a major update ahead of his ‘big day’ with his fiancé.

The actor, who fans will know for playing Lewis Barton in the ITV soap, got engaged to his partner Scott Johnston during a romantic getaway to Sorrento, Italy, in April 2024, which came shortly after Bradley’s stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Bradley then shared at the end of last year that they’ll be getting married in April 2026 as he wrote on social media: “4 months until we say ‘I do'” back in December. As 2025 came to a close, Bradley shared the video of his proposal once more and added: “2020 was my favourite yet but… 2026 gonna be even better as I get to marry my best friend”.

Now, the time is getting closer until Bradley and Scott will officially tie the knot and in a new social media post, Bradley shared a string of beaming snaps from their sweet engagement and wrote on Instagram on Wednesday (March 4): “1 month until the big day.”

And the comments soon came flooding in. @bradleysfavee said: “Ahhh my faves.” @mid_summer_witch commented: “So so happy for you , I am in awe of you, you as an actor never ceases to amaze me.” @yasmin_xx20 replied: “Happy for you.”

@princess_and_friends_ wrote: “WOW. How exciting.” @katesquigles posted: “Love this for you.” @kaypixigirl shared: “So excited for you both.” @zoecooke25 penned: “I can’t wait to see you get married!! The best people.” @bradley_riches.supporter added: “So happy for you divaaaas.”

It comes after Bradley recently shared that Sharon Osbourne is among those invited to his wedding. The duo formed a strong friendship in the Celebrity Big Brother house in March 2024, and Bradley could not imagine the former X Factor judge not being a part of his big day.

He told Heat magazine last month: “April 2026, I’m getting married, and I’m really excited about it. Sharon is coming to support – she won’t be walking me down the aisle, though.”

Bradley – who has dated Scott since 2020 – also shared with Bella magazine that the pair do stay in touch and meet when they can. The soap star said: “We saw each other for breakfast the other day, and Sharon was like, ‘We’ll meet you at Claridge’s’, and I was like, ‘OK, this is a bit bougie for me,’ but I went and had some pancakes. It was really nice.”
