A CASUALTY star has revealed he is engaged to his stunning co-star after splitting from his very famous ex.
TV hunk Olly Rix has announced he has popped the question to his actress partner Anna Chell in an Instagram post.


Olly is best known for appearing in BBC’s Call The Midwife before taking up his latest role as sexy surgeon Flynn Byron in Saturday night drama Casualty.
The actor, who met Anna on the set of the long-running BBC show, shared a snap of him kissing his partner on the head as he shared the happy news with fans.
Fellow Casualty star Sammy Dobson was among the first to congratulate the pair as she said: “ARGHHHH!!!! THIS IS SO, SO LUSH!!! Congratulations!!!”
Other fans were quick to react with one writing: “Congratulations and every best wish for the future.”

A third echoed: “erm?! omg?! congratulations to you both.”
Olly, 40, confirmed he was dating his 29-year-old co-star, who has played the role of Jodie Whyte since 2023, on social media last year.
Olly confirmed their romance by sharing a string of loved-up snaps from their summer together – along with adorable pictures with his pet dog Nellie.
He captioned the post: “Summer with Anna and Nellie.”
The Sun had already revealed that they were dating after meeting on the set of the BBC medical drama.
The actor teased fans on social media with a snap of Anna on his Instagram stories – fuelling rumours they were dating and getting close.

It is the second time in recent years that Olly has entered a romance with a colleague as the actor was previously in a relationship with his Call The Midwife co-star Helen George, 41, who plays nurse Trixie Franklin.
Helen’s role saw her play the wife of Olly’s character, businessman Matthew Aylward, but also act alongside her real life partner and dad of her two children, Jack Ashton, 38, whom she split from in 2023.
Olly and Helen’s romance came four months after she announced her split from Jack, whom she met on the BBC show in 2014.
At about the same time, Olly split from his make-up artist girlfriend Natasha Fagri after seven years together.
Olly joined Casualty in 2024 after the end of his brief relationship with Helen.
