‘General Hospital’ Cast Shares Their Characters’ 2026 New Year’s Resolutions
In a video posted to the official General Hospital Instagram account, several cast members were asked to weigh in on what their on-screen counterparts should be working toward in the new year.
Genie Fancis, who portrays longtime Port Charles matriarch Laura Collins, shared a reflective response. “I think Laura’s New Year’s resolution would be to remember that she has overcome hard times before and she will again.”
Van Hansis, who portrays Lucas Jones, offered a more humorous take, saying, “Lucas’s New Year’s resolution for 2026 is to stay out of the catacombs and stay off the parapet.”
Alexa Havins Bruening, who portrays Lulu Spencer, joked that Lulu’s resolution should be , “not to pursue her best friends husband,” referencing Lulu’s growing relationship with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), who was married to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) prior to his presumed death and Maxie’s coma.
Katelyn MacMullen kept things simple when discussing Willow Cain’s goals for the year ahead, saying she hopes Willow will “get her kids back” in 2026.
Tabyana Ali, who plays Trina , focused on family, sharing, “Trina’s 2026 new years resolution would be to enjoy her new sibling that is to come and also embrace her family a little bit more than she has these last couple of months.”
Maurice Benard, a fan favorite as Sonny Corinthos, added with his trademark candor, “The guy’s lonely, he’s been lonely for a long time, so I think it’s time to get some lovin’.”
Bluesy Burke, who portrays Charlotte Cassadine, teased her character’s mischievous streak saying Charlotte’s resolution would be to “stay out of trouble,” before adding, “but I think we all know that’s not going to happen.”
Kate Mansi believes Kristina Corinthos should lean into her instincts in the coming year. “I think Kristina’s new years resolution is to play it a little less safe, because bad decisions are her brand.”
Amanda Setton, who plays Brook Lynn Quartermaine, shared that her character’s focus remains on family. “To continue her focus on her son Gio and to build a family with her husband Chase,” Setton said.
Josh Swickard, who portrays Harrison “Chase” Chase, closed out the video with a lighthearted goal joking that Chase’s New Year’s resolution would be “to one day have a better body than Cameron Mathison.”
