‘General Hospital’ Drops ‘Remembering Luke Spencer’ Promo Ahead of Special Episode in Tribute to Anthony Geary
The Monday, February 18 episode of General Hospital, finally provided Van Hansis, the material we have been waiting for him to have, that reminded us all why we fell in love with him in the first place from his beginnings on soaps as Luke Snyder on As the World Turns.
Reeling by what he had overheard between Marco (Adrian Anchondo) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota), a heartbroken and shocked Lucas tells Marco that he judged him wrongly, and he wants to know exactly what secret project he is working on with his father, and how he heard them threaten to kill Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), if she didn’t do what they wanted her to do!
Marco puts the blame squarely on his father. Lucas admits he feels like an idiot for defending Marco to everyone, in particular his sister, Carly (Laura Wright), who he almost ruined his relationship with to stand by Marco. When Lucas tries to leave Wyndemere, Marco stops him. In tears, Marco, in touching moments played by Adrian Anchondo, says he loves Lucas, and has risked everything for him. Realizing that being close to his father was the real reason they moved to Wyndemere, Lucas accuses Marco of having manipulated him from the very start.

REVENGE FOR MY MOTHER
Suddenly, Marco cops to agreeing to work for his father so in return Sidwell would help him make Sonny (Maurice Benard) pay for his mother Natalia’s death. When Lucas hears this, his illusions of his boyfriend are shattered! Marco goes for a low blow by bringing up the death of Lucas losing his mother and how they are similar.
“You don’t want justice. You want revenge,” an emotional Lucas says. Marco explains he wants vengeance as much as he wants Lucas. As Lucas continues to try to make an exit, Marco begs his boyfriend to give him time to wrap this project, promising he will keep Britt safe in the process. Lucas seems to give in and the two hug, with Lucas realizing he in danger from what he knows, and that Marco is not the man he thought he was. Will Lucas be forced to stay at Wyndemere? Will he work with Britt to quicken the project and help keep her safe? Stay tuned.
MY DEAD HUSBAND IS ALIVE
In other major developments, now out of her coma, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) sits in her clinic bed, with Felicia (Kristina Wagner) sitting next to her. Felicia continues to reveal how Nathan (Ryan Paevey) is actually alive to a stunned Maxie, who is having trouble believing it, when her beloved husband died right in front of her and they had his funeral. Felicia explains how Anna had the casket exhumed from Nathan’s gravesite and there was no body in it, plus how Nathan remembers everything about his life with Maxie before he was shot, but not the next seven years, he was supposedly dead. Maxie also learns that shortly before Nathan arrived back in Port Charles, so too, did a very much alive, Britt!
Now back in Port Charles, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) talks to Jason (Steve Burton) about Maxie, and how with Nathan back in the picture, he doesn’t have a chance with Maxie, but Jason feels otherwise. Speaking of Jason, at the end of the episode, he is summoned by Britt on Valentine’s Day for a secret meet-up.
A VALENTINE’S DAY TO REMEMBER
Meanwhile, on a date at with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) at a hatchet range, Ric (Rick Hearst) ends up kissing her, and his daughter, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) happily catches the moment, since everyone seemed to end at the range on Valentine’s Day!
