A beautiful voice

Emma met Gio, Kai, and Trina at the Surf Lodge, where she spoke about someone in the building complaining about a dog in her apartment. Kai then suggested registering Fizz as a service dog.

Moments later, a waiter brought a cake to their table, and Trina started singing “Happy Birthday” to Kai. Everyone at the restaurant was impressed by Trina’s voice. Gio encouraged her to join Kristina’s new pub to sing on stage. Despite hesitation, Trina agreed to do it.

Joss erupted in rage

Joss stormed into the warehouse where Jason and Britt were. After ordering Britt to leave, Joss argued with Jason for revealing her WSB job to Carly. The two then discussed Valentin, Jack, and Sonny. At the end of their conversation, Joss told Jason to talk to Carly about getting rid of Valentin.

The real enemy

Britt returned to her office, where Jack was waiting for her. He demanded an update on the project. Frustrated with his attitude, she finally revealed that Cullum is the real enemy since he’s Sidwell’s secret partner, which took Jack by surprise.

Obrecht’s advice

Obrecht showed up at Nina’s office, where Nathan was also present. She spoke to her son about his feelings for Lulu and asked him to give Maxie and his relationship another try. But Nathan defended that Maxie had moved on and that he should, too. Later, Britt showed up only to learn about Nathan’s new feelings and that Obrecht is leaving the country for a conference. Obrecht agreed to leave Nathan alone for now.

Unexpected bond

Valentin comforted Carly after her fight with Joss. Carly is worried that being an agent will destroy her daughter’s life. He reassured her that Joss, just like her mother, is very determined and strong-willed. After a long conversation, Valentin refused to leave Carly’s side. Touched by his words, she landed a kiss on Valentin. The two then headed to the bedroom.

No blessings today

Lulu arrived at Maxie’s office and came clean about her feelings for Nathan. Maxie wondered if they had slept together, but Lulu denied it. She is okay with Nathan moving on, but just not with her best friend. Maxie said that she won’t give her blessing if that’s what Lulu wanted. Lulu hoped that they’d eventually be over the issue, but Maxie can’t imagine that happening anytime soon.
