1) Cody & Molly’s new relationship hits a big snag

For starters, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) will initially feel like they’ve finally got it all figured out.

Now that Molly and Cody’s hearts are aligned, they’re eager to see where their connection will lead.

Cody and Molly recently had a passionate encounter, so that’s only going to deepen their feelings for each other.

Unfortunately, some drama is brewing thanks to Molly’s romance novel.

There’s a character inspired by Cody in the book, so could Cody get offended over some aspect of how he’s portrayed in the story? That’s one option to consider.

It’s also possible that when Molly tries to publish the novel, she’ll face pressure to make Cody and their real-life love story part of the marketing.

Cody might object to blurring the lines between fiction and reality, so we’ll see if that’s where this storyline is headed.

2) Lucy’s future with Sidwell derailed by Ava

Next, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will feel like she’s watching her future with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) slip through her fingers.

Although Lucy thought she was making romantic progress with Sidwell, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is going to derail things in a big way.

Of course, GH fans know that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) plan to use this Lucy, Sidwell and Ava triangle to their advantage.

This will become a vulnerability to exploit as Sonny and Laura work to take Sidwell down.

That’ll add to the romantic mess that’s looming, so Lucy may eventually have to surrender and accept that maybe she doesn’t belong with Sidwell after all.

3) Maxie’s wake-up call complicates Nathan & Lulu’s budding romance

Over with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), it’s easy to see that they’re inching out of the friend zone.

Lulu and Nathan are teetering on the edge of something romantic instead, so they may cave in and share a kiss at some point.

However, Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) coma awakening is going to be a game-changer in so many ways.

Lulu and Nathan’s budding romance may come to a screeching halt – at least temporarily!

That said, there’s always a chance for it to start back up again if Maxie chooses Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) or Nathan finds he can’t turn his feelings for Lulu off.
