GENERAL HOSPITAL: Who is “C?”; Tracy Breaks Down Over Monica’s Death

On the Monday, September 22nd episode of General Hospital, the mystery deepened, not only with the arrival of an injured Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), apparently back-from-the-dead, but a puzzling and ominous gift received by Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), as Anna (Finola Hughes) tries to put two and two together that seemingly both siblings Britt and Nathan are alive!

After Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Anna (Finola Hughes), Lucas (Van Hansis) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) are shocked that the injured man from a car crash at GH looks just like Nathan West, Anna had his fingerprints run in the PCPD database and they came back as a match! Anna is not so sure this is all as it seems, especially since Britt and Nathan are the children of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and her arch-nemesis, Cesar Faison.

Meanwhile, after a verbal fight with Lulu (Alexa Havins), over Ben/Rocco, (Finn Carr), Britt reopens the gift box to find several vials and a note that reads: “Don’t Forget to Take Your Medicine.” It’s signed simply by the letter “C”.  Is “C” actually Cesar Faison? Is the medication to help with Britt’s Huntington’s disease remission, or is something else going on?

As Port Charles continues to learn of the passing of Monica Quartermaine, Tracy (Jane Elliot) has yet to let it all out, over the death of someone she loved very much. The woman who her late brother, Alan, cared more about than anyone, too.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) shows up at the “Q’s” unaware that Monica has passed, and is insistent on talking to Tracy about Deception. Finally, Tracy tells Lucy about Monica, and GH does a great job in the writing of the scene, harkening back to how Lucy stole Alan from Monica, and wore red at the wedding, just like she is now. Lucy is quick to point out that Tracy wore black to the nuptials. The two exchange some tense moments about the past, before finally getting emotional until they finally share a drink and toast to Monica.

After Lucy leaves, Tracy, who has been doing her best to be stoic, crumbles on the staircase that goes up to Monica’s room and cries as the episode comes to its conclusion.

So, who do you think is “C”? Do you think it’s truly Nathan West who is at ‘General Hospital’ recovering from a car accident that seems to maybe have been fabricated to get him into the hospital? What did you think of Tracy crumbling on the Q staircase in grief over Monica? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below. But first, take a look below at what went down after the PCPD saw Nathan seemingly alive at GH, but ‘seemingly’ injured!
