As soap fans, we are often forced to say goodbye to some of our favorite characters but when the stars who played them turn up in other projects, it’s always a fun treat to see them outside of daytime. Well fans, we have some news about not one but two such stars who will be turning up in the same episode of one of ABC’s most-popular series.

Views of 9-1-1: Nashville will get to see General Hospital’s Evan Hofer (ex-Dex) and The Young and the Restless’ Hunter King (ex-Summer) together in Thursday’s February 26, 9:00 pm episode titled “Don Begins.” The show will follow a series of flashbacks that reveal how a devastating house fire reshaped Don’s life, followed by how he later met Dixie and Blythe. Plus, the 113 responds to a cyclist who was hit by a car and now pinned against a tree. Though there is no word on who Hofer will play, King will appear as a younger version of Jessica Capshaw’s Blythe — and boy, just look at the resemblance.

On February 23, Hofer teased his new primetime gig by posting a photo standing next to the a show poster on the street and stated, “Watch 9-1-1: Nashville Thursday night?”

A few of his former castmates jumped into the comments to reveal if they’d be watching, including Tabyana Ali (Trina), who cheered, “I’m watching for E!” Michael Easton (ex-Finn) said he’d “definitely” be watching as Jacqueline Grace Lopez (ex-Blaze) joked, “Lemme check my calendar and get back to you.”

And we’ll be watching too! Could it be that Hofer will appear as the trapped and injured cyclist? Stay tuned.
