HEARTBREAKING EMMERDALE DEPARTURE CONFIRMED: A FAN-FAVOURITE ESCAPES AS THE RAY MUR.DER INVESTIGATION EXPLODES!
Emmerdale’s Dylan Penders made a shocking exit plan tonight that could land him in even more trouble. The teen and Paddy Dingle are being charged with perverting the course of justice after they helped cover up Bear Wolf’s murder of villain Ray Walters.
While Dylan and Paddy were awaiting their bail hearing, Mandy and Aaron have been trying to find a witness to attest to Ray’s state of mind so they can prove Bear killed Ray in self-defence.
Last night, Arthur volunteered to go to the police and speak about Ray after his mum Laurel refused to lie. Arthur revealed he was one of the last people to see Ray alive as the pair had a run-in after he visited Laurel at home.
In tonight’s (19 March) episode, Dylan and Paddy arrived back in the village after their bail hearing was brought forward. The pair were greeted by April, and then Laurel, but concern started to arise when they found out neither Mandy nor Arthur had been seen in a while.

Laurel then checked Arthur’s location on her phone and realised he was at the police station.
Outside the police station, Aaron and Mandy were waiting when Paddy and Laurel pulled up and rumbled their plan.
Laurel was furious that Mandy and Aaron had allowed Arthur to lie to the police, but soon the teen emerged saying he wasn’t able to go through with it.
At home, Paddy and Mandy got into an argument over how to deal with their legal troubles. Paddy wanted to fight the charges in court while Mandy thought the risk was too high and wanted to take action now.
Dylan then came home and saw the couple arguing, causing him to walk out. After he left, an emotional Mandy tried to explain to Paddy that she only did what she did because she loves him so much.
Later April was at home and phoned Dylan, who was on his way out of the village with a bag. He then confessed he’d posted a letter to the police saying he was the one who killed Ray.
Dylan said he did it because he blames himself for what Paddy and Bear are going through and this way neither of them would have to go to prison.
April pleaded with him to stay, saying she loved him, but Dylan told her that, although his heart was breaking, he had to leave her.
How much more trouble has Dylan got himself into by leaving the village while on bail?
