Is Carter Leaving ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’?

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is beyond unlucky in love.

Carter’s latest move has brought up the question of whether his time is up on the CBS soap. Now that he’s broken off his engagement to Hope (Annika Noelle), Carter’s future is up in the air more than ever.

Is This the End of Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Neither the powers that be at The Bold and the Beautiful nor Saint-Victor have commented on his status with the show. The good news is that Saint-Victor has deep ties to the CBS soap, so he’s not going anywhere.

Along with starring on The Bold and the Beautiful, Saint-Victor is also one of the show’s writers. Saint-Victor added the new role in 2021, after eight years playing Carter.

In fact, just recently, Saint-Victor used Instagram to celebrate a major honor in his writing career on The Bold and the Beautiful. Saint-Victor was one of the lucky writers who got to pen the first episode in the show’s new studios.

As Parade reported, the CBS soap left Television City behind this summer for new digs at Sunset Las Palmas Studios. The actor called it an honor to write the historic episode.

What’s Next for Carter on B&B?

The writing has been on the wall for months that Hope was never going to marry Carter. Once it was revealed that Liam (Scott Clifton) wasn’t dying and Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) was on-screen more, pushing her parents together, a Lope reunion was imminent.

Carter already has his sights set on someone else, though. Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) was initially hired by Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to seduce Carter and destroy him and Hope after they stole Forrester Creations.

However, Daphne ended up actually falling for Carter, but he chose Hope. Now that the pair’s relationship is over, all signs point to Carter giving Daphne another chance.

Their scenes at Il Giardino, after Carter told her he set Hope free to be with Liam, were just the beginning of a new romance. Carter doesn’t stay single very long, and Daphne has let him know more than once that she is all in with him.

Yes, a Daphne and Carter pairing is on the horizon, which means Saint-Victor is sticking around.
