From the moment Tracy (Jane Elliot) met Ronnie (Erika Slezak) in the Quartermaine crypt, she has been suspicious. Even with letters between Monica and Ronnie weren’t enough to prove that Ronnie and Monica (Leslie Charleson) grew closer via letters in the last couple of years. But is it all a con?

Ronnie has been quite docile with everyone in Port Charles that she has met…except Tracy. The first few episodes, she tried to be cordial and patient when Tracy was bad-mouthing her, but she stood her ground, and then she snapped. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) decided to throw a tea party with the ladies of Port Charles. Each became acquainted with Ronnie during the party, but midway through, Ronnie completely lost it after Tracy kept berating her and questioning the authenticity of Ronnie and Monica’s relationship. Tracy kept prodding, insisting Ronnie was drunk, a claim Ronnie kept refuting and saying she was drugged.

With Liz (Rebecca Herbst), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Portia (Brook Kerr), Jordan (Tanisha Harper), Stella (Vernee Watson), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), and Brook Lynn all looking on in shock that someone was actually standing up to Tracy. The final blow was when Ronnie kicked Tracy out of the Quartermaine mansion. At first, Tracy thought Ronnie was kidding. When she realized she wasn’t, she didn’t beg to stay. She just reiterated how she thought Ronnie was a fake and a drunk, and expressed her hurt at being left a bottle of relish after how close she and Monica had become over the last two years.

Alter-nate Reality

To say Ronnie was enraged would be an understatement. But watching Slezak unleash Ronnie’s fury reminded me of her days playing Niki Smith on One Life to Live. Now, with her potentially teaming up with Drew to take down Tracy, how great would it be if she turned out to be the shooter?

Viki Buchanan’s dissociative identity disorder (DID) was caused by severe childhood trauma at the hands of her abusive father, Victor Lord. Throughout the years, OLTL developed this storyline, building upon the initial trauma to reveal increasingly disturbing details about Victor’s cruelty.

Niki Smith loved to have a good time, but she also had a bad temper and held her ground much like Ronnie did with Tracy. It’s been many years since OLTL went off the air, so no one knows what is currently going on with Viki. Right after the show’s cancellation, a few actors from the show went over to GH, including Roger Howarth (Todd), Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Kristen Alderson (Starr), Michael Easton (John), Florencia Lozano (Tea), and, later on down the road, Hillary B. Smith (Nora).
