Kim’s reaction to sleeping with Emmerdale’s Graham stuns us all in ITVX release
The following article contains spoilers from the episode of Emmerdale dated March 13. It hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Kim Tate (Claire King) woke up with a spring in her step in today’s episode of Emmerdale, as she had just spent the night with Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).
Yesterday, Graham waited patiently on the footbridge for Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry). Earlier in the day, he told her that if she arrived, they would talk about their dynamic but if not, he’d leave her well alone.
Rhona had every intention of meeting Graham, but got distracted due to Ivy injuring herself at nursery. When she eventually arrived, Graham was gone.
He had returned to Home Farm and was busy turning on the charm with Kim, who was ranting to him about Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

Graham kissed Kim and then they headed upstairs. As he was otherwise occupied, Graham failed to notice a call coming in from Rhona.
He tried to contain his emotions when he picked up his device the next morning and realised Rhona had tried to contact him multiple times. When Kim – with a smile on her face – asked if they should have breakfast together, Graham politely declined.
Kim sensed that Graham wasn’t interested due to whatever was on his phone. She headed to Wishing Well shortly after to see Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), and admitted she actually really enjoyed her night with Graham, even saying that it felt as though he had never been away.
It’s not often we see Kim in this vulnerable position, so Lydia knew her friend was being incredibly honest with her feelings.
When Lydia entered the café a while later, she witnessed Graham and Rhona speaking. Earlier in the week, Lydia saw the former couple speaking in close proximity and got suspicious.

Her reason to be worried about Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) but also Kim increased when she managed to work out that Rhona was planning on seeing Graham.
Rhona pointed out that what she does in her life isn’t any of Lydia’s business. Quite right, but Lydia cares deeply about Marlon, Kim and Rhona, and could see she was very close to making a massive mistake.
Lydia could sense that her comments weren’t enough to sway Rhona, so she ended up telling her that Graham slept with Kim last night. This was ultimately what gave Rhona a hard reality check. She met Graham at the bridge, but told him where to go.
At Home Farm, Graham angrily confronted Kim about someone spreading rumours in the village about his private life. It took her a minute, but Kim eventually worked out that Lydia had blabbed.
Graham had some pretty harsh words for Kim, telling her that she’ll ‘die alone’ because she’s a monster.

Kim held her own in this confrontation though and gave the impression that Graham’s words didn’t bother her.
However, given her comments to Lydia earlier in the episode about how she felt after spending the night with him, it’s clear Kim feels a great deal for Graham still.
We’re not entirely sure what Graham is planning right now, but it’s obvious he wants to throw Kim off her Home Farm throne.
Will the complicated emotions she has towards Graham mean Kim fails to spot what he’s up to?
