Kyle lost control of his relationship with Claire, so he’s trying to regain it, which is surprisingly not going well.

Kyle is no longer a puppy dog. He’s putting on his big boy pants and telling people off. And by people, we mean Holden. Kyle thinks he can control Claire’s life, which could ruin his chances of reconciliation on The Young and the Restless.

Nepo Baby No More
Kyle (Michael Mealor) was ready to beef with Holden (Nathan Owens) the moment he saw him at Crimson Lights. He asked him about his drunken night out with Claire (Hayley Erin—who revealed her hopes for Claire and Kyle on Y&R). Kyle thought Holden was putting the moves on his girlfriend.

He told him to stay away from Claire, but Kyle was wrong. Claire wanted to hang out with Holden and decided to get drunk with him. Claire is a grown woman who can make her own decisions.

Mr. Self-Sabotage
Kyle has no idea that he just sabotaged his relationship, which could ultimately bring Claire closer to Holden. Claire ended up following Holden to the park, where she apologized for Kyle confronting him.

Holden could tell that Kyle cared about her, and he could see why. During their conversation at the park, Holden told Claire that he liked the way she thought. She was so positive, kind, and forgiving.

Holden liked everything about Claire. He couldn’t pretend or hold his feelings anymore. What will Claire do next? Will she wait things out with Kyle or leave him for Holden, who has been more considerate about her feelings?
