The reality TV star focuses on finding new ways to boost tourism at his family’s land each year during the Pumpkin Festival. However, Jacob seems to be busy creating something of his own lately.

He introduced the new “Helvetia Garden” at the Pumpkin Festival last October. The reality TV star has been growing a sustainable, organic market garden. Jacob and his wife, Isabel, are also focusing on regenerative agriculture and exploring soil health, in-house organic composting, and tree planting. They are growing vegetables and fruits on the pieces of land for their new venture.

Jacob Roloff usually stays away from drama and the limelight. He has been passionately working to grow his new “Helvetia Gardens” at Roloff Farms lately. However, the LPBW star has been concerned about the new Senate Bills, which could change the lives of the local farmers and his community. Hence, Jacob jumped into local politics to raise his voice against the new Senate Bill 1586.

He chatted with the Hillsboro Herald about his concerns over the expansion of an AI data center on 1700 acres in the Hillsboro region of Oregon. The Little People Big World was not happy with the new bill and sounded alarms about the exploitation of their resources. Roloff also noted how urban encroachment and data center “fans” are impacting the local ecosystem.

He thinks it is time to slow down and protect the soil that the community has. The reality TV stars thanked the government for dropping the SB1586 and HB4084 bills. Jacob also received massive support from his community and followers for standing up for the ecosystem. One fan said, “Jacob, KEEP FIGHTING. They are putting these Data centers in every State.”
