The Young and the Restless’ onscreen brother-sister duo, Paxton Mishkind and Sienna Mercuri, are coming back to Genoa City, and it looks like we’re in for more fun (and maybe a little drama, too).

Taking to Instagram, Mishkind shared a sweet behind-the-scenes photo of the two on set, writing, “Great to be back on @youngandrestlesscbs set with the best TV sister.”

Naturally, the post sparked an outpouring of excitement from fans who can’t wait to see Johnny and Katie Abbott return to the canvas.

One fan wrote, “Looking forward to seeing you (Johnny) back in the storyline with Connor. You are a very talented actor.”

Another chimed in, “Hey!!! It’s so nice to see you guys!”

The comment section continued to light up with enthusiasm as one said, “Looking forward to more storylines for these amazing young teen actors.”

Another said, “I can hardly wait! WOOHOO!!!! I’ve missed you.”

And yet another fan summed it up perfectly: “Can’t wait — and a million other fans!”

Sienna and Paxton are back at Y&R

For those keeping track, Mercuri has been playing Katie, the daughter of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), since 2018. She was last seen on the show in 2024. Mishkind, who joined the cast in 2022 as Johnny Abbott, Billy and Victoria’s son, was also last seen in 2024.

Of course, this is exciting news, but it also begs the question, what brings Johnny and Katie back to Genoa City now? Could it be for Thanksgiving? Maybe for the holiday season? Or perhaps something else?

Whatever the reason, fans are thrilled to see this talented duo back in action. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Abbott kids together, so you know.
